Artist Profile
A Visual Journey
After decades of landscape masonry and television documentaries on ancient stone working, I decided to pursue my passion for stone sculpture. My son, Jacob, has recently joined my workshop and is poised to send me into retirement and take over.
My style has been called "Primitive Modern". I believe that boulders have a spiritual relationship with us and the beauty of the stone should remain paramount in my sculptures.

We are showing work that has been completed and they are to be examples of some of our work and if you have specific needs do not hesitate to ask.

We welcome your enquiries and hope to make you one of our clients

FIRE PITS
,People have always gathered around the fire; it represents security and warmth. Now we present a new type of fire element. Elegant boulders are selected for their sculptural beauty and fabricated into artful coffee table fire pits. Powered by natural gas or propane, the tiresome lugging of wood and it related chores are eliminated and almost instantaneous fire is at your fingertips.
There are some precautions you must observe during construction:

1. The fire element needs to within 1" of the upper surface and not less then 5"-6" from the stone" bowl edges
2. A manual shut off should be within an arms reacher (3' is general)
3. To keep from cracking the stone don't run at high temperatures for extended time.
Too much heat will definitely crack the rock and wood fires are prohibited as the burn much hotter than gas
